The Managing Director of Laboratoire national de métrologie et d'essais (LNE), Mr. Thomas Grenon, visited TÜBİTAK UME on June 17, 2019, with the purpose of obtaining information on the ongoing activities and capabilities of its laboratories.
Following mutual presentations of TÜBİTAK UME and LNE, discussions were held concerning the strong cooperation between them in research and development activities.
Mr. Thomas GRENON had the opportunity to obtain detailed information on TÜBİTAK UME’s technical capabilities by visiting the Electromagnetics, Time and Frequency, Length, Dimensional Quantities, Inorganic Chemistry, Bioanalysis, Medical Metrology, and Electrodynamics laboratories.
TÜBİTAK UME and LNE have maintained a relationship marked by strong cooperation in research and development activities covering a diverse range of subjects in metrology. The two institutes have partnered in 34 completed and 11 ongoing joint research projects funded by the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) and the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR).
