Inter-laboratory comparisons (ILC) and proficiency tests (PT) are important tools for assessing the technical competence of calibration/test laboratories. This is also stated in TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories" standard.
In line with the requests received, it is planned to organize an inter-laboratory comparison within the country, taking into account the need for comparison in electrical quantities of calibration laboratories that carry out calibration activities according to the requirements of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The comparison is open to all calibration laboratories accredited or not accredited according to TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
This comparison covers the calibration of multimeters in the following measurement sizes:
- DC Voltage
- AC Voltage
- DC Current
- AC Current
- DC Resistance
The benchmark covers the calibration of multimeters with a resolution of 6½ and below. Information on the benchmarking is contained in the attached draft technical protocol. After the number of participants is determined, the final technical protocol will be prepared and sent to the participants.
For participation in the comparison, applications made with the "Interlaboratory Comparison / Proficiency Test Application Form" under the "Quick Access" heading on the UME website 01.03.2021 will be accepted until the deadline. The offer form will be sent to you as soon as possible and the conditions specified in the "UME-G1LV-21-01 Comparison Technical Protocol" will be accepted upon your approval of the offer.
