Humidity Laboratory

About Us

Moisture Laboratory provides services for human health, food, pharmaceutical, energy, battery and electronics industries by measuring moisture in gases (especially in air) and moisture in solids.

The main objective of the laboratory is to provide and develop the infrastructure to measure humidity parameters such as relative humidity, absolute humidity, dew-point, water vapor pressure and air temperature in a traceable way to SI units. High accuracy (with an uncertainty of 0.07 °C - 0.2 °C) is provided in air temperature measurements.

Calibration services: Hygrometers, Humidity/temperature data loggers, Dew-point meters, Ambient condition loggers, Thermometers. In addition, controlled environments can be created and various tests can be performed. Moisture determination of solids (by drying, titration, etc.) is carried out; accurate measurement is aimed especially in cereals and soil.

Systems for special applications such as ultra dry air (<50 ppb) are also available. The laboratory participates in various national and international benchmarks to ensure measurement accuracy. It is active in BIPM, EURAMET, COOMET, GULFMET and SMIIC technical committees.
