TÜBİTAK UME signed a project agreement to produce company marker and performance additive for ALPET Company and to measure the company marker in field samples. On October 9, Mustafa Ergi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of ALPET, General Manager İzzet Çubukçu, Murat Kahveci, Aytek Başer, Hakan Aybar and Şahika Mut attended the signing ceremony, while Institute Director Dr. Fatih Üstüner, Institute Technical Assistant Director Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Ceyhan Gören and Specialist Hüseyin Kaya attended the signing ceremony on behalf of TÜBİTAK UME.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mustafa Ergi said, "Today, TÜBİTAK UME's success in the National Marker project and the international acceptance of its measurements with the uniform system it has established make me happy about the value of our cooperation. The fact that TÜBİTAK UME is an internationally recognized institution and Turkey's most competent authority in measurement science reinforces our principle of always providing our customers with safer products of the same quality.

I would like to thank everyone who has brought TÜBİTAK UME to where it is today, both those who have worked in the past and those who support the continuation of these distinguished services today, especially the Presidency of TÜBİTAK. As a fuel company with 100% domestic capital, we will continue to develop our cooperation and demand internationally recognized solutions from TÜBİTAK UME for our other product groups."

TÜBİTAK UME will continue to produce solutions at an equal distance to everyone in the sector."

UMEXLD, a company marker and performance additive developed by TÜBİTAK UME, functions not only as a company marker but also as a diesel performance additive.
