2013 End of Year Evaluation Meeting was held

The 2013 Year End Evaluation Meeting, which was organized to review the activities of TÜBİTAK UME for one year, was held on December 30, 2013. At the meeting where the year-end evaluation presentation was made by Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Acting Director of TÜBİTAK UME Institute, Service Certificates of Appreciation were given to the personnel who completed 25, 20 and 15 years in the profession.
In the meeting, plaques of appreciation were also presented to the project coordinators on behalf of the personnel who contributed to the projects completed in 2013. Projects completed by TÜBİTAK UME in 2013:

Plaques of Achievement were also awarded to the best staff and laboratories of the year in various categories, based on statistical data.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin SÖZERİ ranked first with 11 publications, Dr. Uğur TOPAL and Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Ceyhan GÖREN ranked second and third with 5 publications.
In the category of Personnel Performing the Most Calibrations, Cemal VATAN from Force Laboratories ranked first, Tamer ÇETİN from Dimensional Laboratories ranked second and Ali YILDIRIM from Fluid Laboratories ranked third.
Taner GÖKÇEN, one of the expert researchers of the Organic Chemistry Laboratory, was the Researcher Personnel Working the Most in the Institution Outside Working Hours, while Cafer KIRBAŞ from the Acoustics Laboratories ranked second and Burcu BİNİCİ from the Reference Materials Laboratory ranked third.
Temperature Laboratories provided the most training (person-days), while Electromagnetic Laboratories ranked second and Mass Laboratories ranked third.
The Organic Chemistry Laboratory ranked first in the category of Laboratory with the Highest Per Capita Experimental Income, while the Electromagnetics and Acoustics Laboratories ranked second and third, respectively.
In the category of Laboratory with the Highest Per Capita Calibration Revenue, the High Voltage Laboratory ranked first, the Fluid Laboratories second and the Voltage Laboratory third.
