TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Russian Metrology Institute of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering Institution (VNIIFTRI) in order to develop cooperation.

Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Director of TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute, and Prof. Dr. Sergey I. DONCHENKO, General Director of the Russian Institute of Metrology and Radio Engineering of the Russian Institute of Metrology of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering signed the "Memorandum of Understanding", which was recorded during the visit to the Russian Institute of Metrology of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering on October 23-24, 2017.

With the signed agreement between the two Institutes;

- Technical support and consultancy,

- Conducting joint research projects,

- Visiting researcher exchange,

- Supply of technical information, reference data, materials and publications,

- Requirements for participation in joint seminars, workshops and training courses were set.

After the signing of the "Memorandum of Understanding", the laboratories and infrastructure of VNIIFTRI were visited and mutual views were exchanged with the officials of the institution. It was also agreed that VNIIFTRI officials will visit TÜBİTAK UME in the coming months in order to create action plans by detailing the scientific and technological studies planned to be carried out between the two institutions.
