Avrupa Metroloji Ortaklığı Programı (EPM) kapsamında ülkemizin yer almaya hak kazandığı 14 projenin 12’sine imza atan TÜBİTAK UME aynı zamanda daha önceki programlara göre yeni program için ulusal katkı taahhüdünü de %50 oranında artırmayı başardı.
At the end of the 2-stage 2022 call process within the scope of EPM, our country, which signed its name to 14 projects at the end of the 2-stage 2022 call process, reported its national contribution commitment to the European Commission as 18 Million Euros with the successful performance of TÜBİTAK UME in the EU-funded metrology programs carried out in previous years.
The new program, the European Metrology Partnership, was officially launched in 2022 as part of the Horizon Europe Framework Program in the final phase of the EU-funded European Metrology and Innovation Research Program, which has been running since 2014.
Continuing to contribute to the metrology ecosystem in our country, TÜBİTAK UME has reinforced its leading position in the European metrology system with a total of 12 projects, 3 in the field of health, 5 in the field of Integrated European Metrology, 1 in the field of Normative and 3 in the field of Research Potential, 1 of which it is involved in the executive role. The project titled "Traceability for Brinell-Vickers-Knoop Hardness Trace Measurements", which was presented in the field of Research Potential under the coordination of TÜBİTAK UME, was the highest rated project in its field as a result of the evaluation made by independent referees.
TÜBİTAK UME, which is a project partner in very different disciplines such as Bioanalysis, Medical Metrology, Thermodynamics, Optics, Temperature, Acoustics, Pressure, Time and Frequency, Length, Hardness, RF and Microwave, Electromagnetics, has once again proved its competence in every field of metrology in Europe.
While Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and TÜBİTAK MAM Medical Biotechnology Research Group were also involved as project partners in the projects in which TÜBİTAK UME was involved, Turkey Energy, Nuclear and Mining Research Organization Nuclear Energy Research Institute (TENMAK NÜKEN) also succeeded in participating in 2 different projects in the Normative field.
Following the negotiation of project contracts, all announced projects are scheduled to officially enter into force in May-June 2023.
