Subject : Medical Metrology Proficiency Test Announcement
Dear Calibration Laboratory Authorities,
Inter-Laboratory Comparisons (ILC) and Proficiency Tests (PT) are important tools to assess the technical competence of calibration and/or testing laboratories. This is also specifically stated in the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and the TÜRKAK document. It is a requirement of the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and TURKAK that accredited laboratories or laboratories applying for accreditation participate in comparisons related to the measurement quantities within the scope of accreditation and have achieved successful results.
It is planned to organize Proficiency Tests (PTs) in the following areas, taking into account the benchmarking needs of calibration laboratories that are accredited and/or planning to be accredited in the country.
1. Defibrillator Calibrator
2. Electrical Safety Analyzer
3. Electrosurgical Analyzer
4. Gas Flow Analyzer
5. Patient Simulator
6. Infusion Pump Analyzer
7. NIBP Simulator
8. Pulse Oximetry (SpO2) Simulator
9. Ultrasonic Power Meter
10. Vaporizer Calibrator
