During the visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Turkey, a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute and Iran Metrology Center-Iranian Research Institute for Standards and Industry (NMCI-ISIRI) was signed on 16 April 2016.
Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Director of TUBITAK National Metrology Institute and Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Director of TUBITAK National Metrology Institute, and Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Head of Metrology Center of Iran Metrology Center, Standards and Industry Research Institute, signed the "Memorandum of Understanding" at the 3rd Meeting of the Turkey-Iran High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC) held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
Dr. Khosro MADANIPOUR signed it.
With the signed agreement between the two Institutes;
- Technical support and consultancy,
- Conducting joint research projects,
- Visiting researcher exchange,
- Supply of technical information, reference data, materials and publications,
- Participation in joint seminars, workshops and training courses
conditions have been set for the subjects.
Prior to the signing ceremony, in the delegation meeting held under the chairmanship of Fikri Işık, Minister of Science, Technology and Industry, detailed ideas were exchanged on bilateral cooperation areas. A mutual declaration of intent was made to put the relevant agreement into practice as soon as possible.
