All products, services and activities within the framework of calibration, testing, analysis, training, consultancy, reference material production, inter-laboratory comparison/qualification tests and national and international projects carried out by TÜBİTAK UME are within the scope of TÜBİTAK UME Quality Management System. TÜBİTAK UME Quality Management System is established and maintained in accordance with the requirements of TS EN ISO 9001 "Quality Management Systems - Requirements" standard and related national/international standards.

In this context, calibration/experiment services provided by TÜBİTAK UME are carried out in accordance with the requirements of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories", reference material production services are carried out in accordance with TS EN ISO 17034 "General Requirements for the Competence of Reference Material Producers", and inter-laboratory comparison/qualification test services are carried out in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17043 "General Requirements for the Competence of Proficiency Test Providers" standards.

According to the CIPM International Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA), documents issued by TÜBİTAK UME to report calibration and measurement results are recognized by more than 100 countries. As required by the CIPM MRA, the conformity of our Institute's quality management system and calibration, testing and reference material production activities are regularly evaluated by the Technical Committee on Quality (TC-Q) of the European Association of Metrology Institutes (EURAMET). In addition, most of the Institute's calibration and testing services are accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) with the accreditation numbers AB-0034-K (calibration) and AB-0092-T (testing) according to TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and reference material production activities are accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) with the accreditation number AB-0001-RM according to TS EN ISO 17034 standard.
