A Cooperation Protocol was signed between TÜBİTAK UME and Yeditepe University on Thursday, February 14th.
The signing ceremony of the protocol signed by Prof. Dr. Nurcan BAÇ, Rector of Yeditepe University and Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Acting Director of TÜBİTAK UME Institute was held at Yeditepe University. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet AYDIN, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nedret Kuran BURÇOĞLU, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Prof. Dr. Ahmet T. İNCE, Director of the Institute of Science Prof. Dr. Melih BORAL and Deputy Director of TÜBİTAK UME Institute Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ attended the ceremony.
With the signed protocol;
- Conducting qualified basic and product-oriented applied scientific and technological research and projects between the two institutions,
- Training specialized researchers in areas of technology that are critical for the country,
- Carrying out studies with TÜBİTAK UME in order to enable Yeditepe University students and faculty members to recognize the needs of the industry,
- Giving internship opportunities to Yeditepe University students at TÜBİTAK UME,
- Providing TUBITAK UME employees with the opportunity to pursue a doctorate / master's degree at Yeditepe University,
- Organizing the conditions for TÜBİTAK UME experts to give lectures at the university in order to transfer their knowledge in the field of metrology
