Service Process
TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute (UME) carries out service requests from industry, public institutions and individual customers within a certain process. This process consists of standardized steps to ensure that the service is provided in an accurate, transparent and traceable manner.
First of all, the customer submits his/her request by filling out the relevant application form or via the online system. UME evaluates the application within the scope of its technical infrastructure and service portfolio. For the requests deemed appropriate, a proposal is prepared and sent to the customer. Once the offer is approved by the customer, the service process officially begins.
Although the process steps may differ depending on the type of service (calibration, testing, training, consultancy, interlaboratory comparison, proficiency testing or sale of devices/reference materials), in all cases, the service is carried out in accordance with national and international standards. Throughout the process, continuous communication is maintained with the customer, necessary documents are shared and confidentiality principles are respected.
When the service is completed, a final report, certificate or related documents are delivered to the customer. Customer feedback is evaluated and continuous improvement of service quality is aimed.
Service Process
Step 1
Customer, Service Request page by filling out the relevant request form.
Step 2
TÜBİTAK UME prepares the offer for the requested service and sends it to the customer. The offer includes the scope of service and fee information.
Step 3
The client reviews the offer and approves or rejects it. If not approved, the process ends. If approved, the next step of the process is started.
Step 4
The customer deposits the service fee into the bank account of TÜBİTAK UME.
Step 5
The customer sends the signed Service Application Proposal Form and payment receipt to TÜBİTAK UME.
Step 6
On the date specified in the proposal, it is ensured that the device required for the service or the personnel to participate in the training are delivered to TÜBİTAK UME. (For on-site services, the personnel are directed by TÜBİTAK UME).
Step 7
TÜBİTAK UME performs the requested service (calibration, testing, training, consultancy, etc.).
Step 8
When the service is completed, the relevant certificate, report, device and invoice are sent to the customer.
Step 9
The service process is completed.
