TÜBİTAK UME Advisory Board Meeting, which is held every year with the participation of its members, was held on February 26, 2014.
35 board members participated in the meeting; the board, consisting of senior executives of universities, private and public institutions and officials of companies providing services in the field of metrology in the country, evaluated the activities of 2013 with TÜBİTAK UME Managers. TÜBİTAK UME Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER started the meeting with the presentation of 2013 Activities and the strategic goals and objectives of TÜBİTAK UME for the future were discussed and the evaluations and suggestions of the participants were received. The questions of the participants were answered by TUBITAK UME Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Institute Technical Assistant Directors Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ceyhan GÖREN, Mechanical Group Coordinator Dr. Sinan FANK and Administrative Assistant Director Dr. Erkan DANACI.
The members of the advisory board meet at least once a year to determine TÜBİTAK UME's plans and objectives, to improve its relations and coordination with other organizations, and to establish a nationwide measurement and calibration system.
