TÜBİTAK UME Hosted Rwanda Ministry of Defense Delegation

A delegation from the Rwandan Ministry of Defense visited TÜBİTAK UME on 14-15 January 2019 to analyze the technical training requests in detail and to examine the laboratory infrastructure.

In the meeting attended by TÜBİTAK UME Director Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ and deputy technical directors, the details of the long-term training of 3 ministry employees in 10 different laboratories at TÜBİTAK UME, which the Rwandan Ministry of Defense has identified as a role model for establishing its metrology infrastructure, were discussed.

During the visit, the Rwandan delegation had the opportunity to observe the TUBITAK UME laboratory infrastructure on site and made decisions to prepare a more comprehensive program for the needs stated by the Rwandan delegation and to improve our existing cooperation.

After the visit to TÜBİTAK UME, the delegation also visited TÜBİTAK MAM Chemistry laboratories and made various contacts.
