TÜBİTAK UME participated in the 4th National Laboratory Accreditation and Safety Symposium and Exhibition (ULAG) held at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus between April 25-27, 2018.
Organized by the Istanbul Branch of the Chamber of Chemical Engineers, the organization, which has become a traditional event where all articles and problematic areas of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Standard were discussed, was held at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus 2010 European Capital of Culture Congress and Culture Center.
On the first two days of the symposium, topics related to TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 and on the last day, topics related to laboratory safety were discussed. In addition, measurement uncertainty applications in microbiological analysis and mechanical and physical testing areas were also practiced in parallel sessions in two separate halls.
TUBITAK UME experts supported the organization with presentations on various topics, and a booth was opened to introduce the certified reference materials produced by TUBITAK UME, which is the first institution in our country and one of the few institutes in the world to receive accreditation certificate according to ISO Guide 34 standard, especially as a reference material manufacturer.
Continuing to support the functioning of the sector with the responsibility of being the country's leading organization in the field of metrology, TÜBİTAK UME's stand at the 4th National Laboratory Accreditation and Safety Symposium and Exhibition attracted great interest from participants and visitors.
