TÜBİTAK UME to Propose "Laboratory Establishment Project Ready for International Metrology System" to Kazakhstan

In accordance with the mutual agreement reached during the visit of Toktabek TOKANOV, Director of the Kazakhstan National Metrology Institute (RSE), to TÜBİTAK UME on September 30, 2019, a feasibility report will be submitted to RSE for the implementation of an international metrology system-ready laboratory installation project.

During the visit, during which information was exchanged about the laboratory infrastructure of the Kazakhstan Metrology Institute, it was mutually agreed that a feasibility report should be prepared by TÜBİTAK UME to carry out a comprehensive international metrology system-ready laboratory installation project.

During the visit, details regarding the metrology training of Kazakhstan Metrology Institute employees in the laboratories of TÜBİTAK UME and Kazakhstan National Metrology Institute by TÜBİTAK UME employees who are experts in their fields were also discussed.

The agreement is of great importance in terms of the international impact of TÜBİTAK UME's previous successes in international metrology system-ready laboratory establishment projects and its position as a center of preference.
