Dr. Enver Sadıkoğlu, Quality Manager at TÜBİTAK UME, was elected as the Chairman of the Technical Committee on Quality (TC-Q) of the European Association of Metrology Institutes (EURAMET) for the period 2014-2016.

The Quality Technical Committee, which is the largest committee of EURAMET after the Mass and Derived Units Committee, undertakes the task of evaluating and auditing the quality management systems of metrology institutes and authorized institutions of EURAMET member countries. In addition, it also carries out activities such as disseminating best practices in Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring knowledge transfer between metrology institutes related to QMS.

Dr. Enver Sadıkoğlu, who was elected as the President, had previously served as the President of EURAMET's Technical Committee on Acoustics, Ultrasonics and Vibration (TC-AUV) between 2005-2009.

With this new task, which also means strengthening our right to representation in the World Metrology Platform, TÜBİTAK UME is taking an active role in 11 of EURAMET's 12 technical committees, increasing its responsibilities in the international arena.
