A two-person delegation from Iran Standards and Industrial Research Institute (ISIRI) visited TÜBİTAK UME on August 6, 2015.

Discussions were held with the delegation consisting of Dr. Khosro Madanipour, President of the National Metrology Center of Iran and Dr. Alireza Khakifirooz, President of the Accreditation Center of Iran on possible collaborations.

Suggestions from ISIRI officials to cooperate with TÜBİTAK UME to increase the technical capacity of their institutions in the field of metrology and to integrate them into the international metrology system were evaluated.

As a result of the meetings, it was agreed to start working on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ISIRI and TÜBİTAK UME to establish the framework for cooperation.
