Officials from the Center for Standardization and Metrology (CSM) of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic visited TÜBİTAK UME on 11 May.

As a CSM Delegation, CSM Director Sultan AHMODOV and Deputy Director Bolot NURMATOV held meetings with TÜBİTAK UME Institute Director Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Institute Technical Assistant Director Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ and Quality Management Representative Dr. Enver SADIKOĞLU.

At the meeting, action plans within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between TÜBİTAK UME and CSM at the ceremony held at the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy on July 3, 2012 were reviewed. Upon the request of CSM, the service was requested for the use of the Rb-based time distribution system, which was built and delivered to CSM in the past months, in the 4 indicator clocks requested by TÜBİTAK UME. The CSM delegation also requested that the CSM be accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) and that TÜBİTAK UME experts be assigned as technical auditors during accreditation audits.
