The teams that ranked in the Quantum Technologies Competition - Hardware Category, hosted by TÜBİTAK UME Quantum Technologies Laboratory on September 1-4, 2025, received their awards at the magnificent award ceremony held at TEKNOFEST Istanbul on September 19, 2025 with the presence of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Team ANKAQUANT from TOBB University of Economics and Technology won the first place, Team QUANTUM BOĞAZİÇİ from Boğaziçi University won the second place and Team LUNA from Middle East Technical University won the third place.

Organized within TEKNOFEST and aiming to direct young scientist candidates to quantum technologies and encourage them to gain knowledge and skills in this field, the competition aimed to spread quantum awareness in society, to bring together young people interested in this field to share experiences and to support the formation of a sustainable quantum ecosystem in Turkey.

Throughout the competition, teams developed their projects, conducted experiments, wrote their codes and prepared for the finals, revealing their work on the future of quantum technologies.

This organization has gained importance not only as a competition, but also as representing an important step in quantum technologies with the efforts and determination of young people.

As TÜBİTAK UME, we would like to thank all our teams, advisors and everyone who contributed to the competition and once again emphasize our belief in the future of our country in the field of science and technology with the success of our young people.
