During the workshop, the European Metrology Network for Advanced Manufacturing will be introduced, followed by a presentation of the work done so far and the European Strategy document on Metrology for Advanced Manufacturing. Then, experts from the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) will present the metrology research on advanced materials and manufacturing. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A panel and discussion on current and future metrology requirements for advanced manufacturing and advanced materials.
The workshop language is English. Our country is represented by TÜBİTAK UME in the European Metrology Network for Advanced Manufacturing, and TÜBİTAK UME has actually participated in the creation of this network within the scope of the project supported by the European Union. In the related workshop, the relevant project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Tanfer YANDAYAN, one of the employees of our institution, will make a presentation as an invited speaker for the studies, problems and things to be done in the field of capacity building in the field of "Metrology for advanced manufacturing" for the integration of candidate countries that are members of the European Union.
