A cooperation protocol was signed between TÜBİTAK UME and the National Defense University on November 9, 2022 to develop scientific metrological cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Serdar SALMAN, Vice Rector of National Defense University and Assoc. Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Acting Director of the Institute on behalf of TÜBİTAK UME attended the protocol ceremony meeting, which was signed by Prof. Dr. Cemalettin ŞAHİN, Dean of the Naval War College of National Defense University, Assoc. Dr. Doğuş ÖZKAN, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Naval War College of National Defense University, and faculty members and researchers from both institutions.
Within the scope of the signed protocol, the two institutions will work in cooperation to conduct qualified basic and product-oriented applied scientific and technological research and projects and to train specialized personnel in areas of technology that are critical for Turkey.
After the protocol signing ceremony, Vice Rector SALMAN and the accompanying delegation were informed about the laboratory capacity of TÜBİTAK UME, and a laboratory visit was organized.
