Cooperation with Mauritania Institute for Standardization and Quality Promotion

Muhammed Osman, Director of the Mauritanian Institute for Standardization and Promotion of Quality (DNPQ), visited TÜBİTAK UME on 22-23 August to discuss possible cooperation between the two institutes.

During the meetings attended by Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Institute Director of TÜBİTAK UME, the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the cooperation between the two institutes was worked on. The Mauritanian Institute for Standardization and Quality Promotion, which operates in the fields of mass, volume and temperature, requested training and benchmarking services to improve the current situation. After the meeting, Mass, Volume, Temperature, Time/Frequency, EMC and Pressure Laboratories were visited.

The draft MoU prepared between the two institutes is expected to be signed at the ministerial level after being evaluated according to the procedures to which the Mauritanian Institute for Standardization and Quality Promotion is subject.
