TÜBİTAK UME, which has been able to participate in CCEM's activities and periodic meetings as an observer until now, has been accepted as a full member by the International Committee on Weights and Measures (CIPM), which operates under the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). With the full membership accepted by the CIPM members who came together in October, TÜBİTAK UME added a new one to the technical committees of which it is a member in the international arena and took a step closer to its goal of being among the top ten most advanced metrology institutes in the world for 2023. With full membership to CCEM, TÜBİTAK UME has gained the right to speak and vote in international activities in the field of Electricity and Magnetism.

CCEM also provides scientific and technical consultancy services to CIPM in this field, guiding international key comparisons and high-level studies in the field of Electricity and Magnetism.
