An event was organized on March 7-8 to introduce TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus Institutes to medical device manufacturers and to ensure cooperation between companies and institutes.

The event was organized as a continuation of the cooperation between TÜBİTAK UME and the Ministry of Health, Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) within the scope of its activities in the field of medical metrology. Approximately 50 participants from 20 companies attended the event on March 7, which was also attended by officials from the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency of the Ministry of Health and SEIS (Health Industry Employers' Union). On the first day, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, MAM and UME were introduced, and laboratory visits were organized to see the facilities and capabilities of the Institutes on site.

With the organization held on March 8, 8 medical device manufacturer companies held bilateral meetings with the Campus Institutes in order to share the projects they are working on for the production of medical devices, their plans for the future and specific issues that they have problems with and to exchange ideas. During the meetings, the services that can be provided by TÜBİTAK Institutes and solutions to the problems experienced by the companies were shared.
