A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute and Kyrgyzstan Metrology Institute "Center for Standardization and Metrology Under the Ministry of Economy of The Kyrgyz" (CSM) on 28 January 2020 in order to develop scientific metrological cooperation.

TÜBİTAK UME Director Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ and CSM Director Berdimamat ADANBAEV signed the "Memorandum of Understanding", which was registered during the 7th SMIIC Metrology Council Meeting held at TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE on 28-29 January 2020.

With the signed agreement, in addition to the ongoing cooperation between the metrology institutes of the two countries, technical consultancy, joint research projects, exchange of guest researchers, seminars, working group meetings and joint participation in training activities will also be cooperated.

With this agreement, the number of MoUs signed by TÜBİTAK UME with foreign counterpart organizations increased to 39.
