TÜBİTAK UME continues its metrology training program for Iraq Standardization and Quality Control Center (COSQC) employees.

United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDOIn March 2016, TÜBİTAK UME signed two contracts with UNIDO to provide comprehensive training and calibration services in the project titled 'Ensuring the Expansion of Trade by Improving the National Quality Infrastructure and Protecting Consumers', which was initiated by COSQC, the national metrology institution of Iraq, in 2012. 

The training program implemented within the scope of these contracts started in May 2016 with trainings in the fields of Dimensional Metrology and Temperature.

Within the scope of the program aimed at increasing technical knowledge in various fields of metrology, a total of 46 COSQC personnel participated in the trainings given in August in the fields of Force, Hardness, Mass, Moisture, Volume and Density, High Voltage, Tension and Pressure.

The program, which aims to ensure the development of Iraq in the field of metrology, will continue until August 31.
