Dr. Enver Sadıkoğlu, Quality Manager at TÜBİTAK UME, was elected as the President of the Technical Committee on Acoustics, Ultrasonics and Vibration (TC-AUV) of the European Association of Metrology Institutes (EURAMET) for 2021-2023.

The Technical Committee on Acoustics, Ultrasonics and Vibration, which has three subcommittees, is responsible for setting strategies for acoustic metrology in Europe, coordinating research in acoustics, ultrasonics and vibration between national metrology institutes and designated institutes, conducting key and support comparisons under the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA) and assessing calibration/measurement capabilities (CMC).

Dr. Enver Sadıkoğlu, who was elected as the chairman, had previously successfully served as the chairman of EURAMET's Technical Committee on Acoustics, Ultrasonics and Vibration between 2005-2009 and Technical Committee on Quality (TC-Q) between 2014-2018. With this new duty, which also means strengthening our right to representation in the world metrology platform, TÜBİTAK UME is taking an active role in 11 of EURAMET's 12 technical committees and increasing its responsibilities in the international arena.
