A Cooperation Protocol was signed between TÜBİTAK UME and Eskişehir Osmangazi University on Tuesday, September 3. The signing ceremony of the protocol signed by Eskişehir Osmangazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan GÖNEN and TÜBİTAK UME Institute Director Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER was held at Osmangazi University.
With the signed protocol;
- Conducting qualified basic and product-oriented applied scientific and technological research and projects between the two institutions,
- Training specialized researchers in areas of technology that are critical for the country,
- Carrying out studies with TÜBİTAK UME in order to enable Eskişehir Osmangazi University students and lecturers to recognize the needs of the industry,
- Giving internship opportunities to Eskişehir Osmangazi University students at TÜBİTAK UME,
- Providing TUBITAK UME employees with the opportunity to pursue a doctorate / master's degree at Eskişehir Osmangazi University,
- Organizing the conditions for TÜBİTAK UME experts to give lectures at the university in order to transfer their knowledge in the field of metrology,
- Evaluating the possibilities of bidding for national and international projects by combining the academic infrastructure of Eskişehir Osmangazi University with the researcher potential of TÜBİTAK UME,
The first step was taken for cooperation on the issues.
In addition, Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Director of the Institute, visited the Plasma Laboratory of the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science. During his visit, he presented the "meter prototype" gift as an expression of gratitude to Prof. Dr. Naci EKEM, who contributed greatly to the preparation of the protocol between the two institutions.
