Dear Calibration Laboratory Authorities,
Inter-laboratory comparisons (ILC) and proficiency tests (PT) are important tools to assess the technical competence of calibration and/or testing laboratories. This is also specifically stated in the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and the TÜRKAK document. It is a requirement of the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and TURKAK that accredited laboratories or laboratories applying for accreditation participate in LAKs related to the measurement quantities within their scope of accreditation and have achieved successful results.
It is planned to organize a LAK considering the need for comparison of calibration laboratories that are accredited and/or planning to be accredited in the country in the field of RF Power measurement.
This comparison covers 0 dBm nominal RF power measurements over the frequency range 50 MHz to 18 GHz for the N-type connector.
