"Metrology in Chemistry Training" was organized at TÜBİTAK UME within the scope of the chemical metrology training program (Training in Metrology in Chemistry, TrainMiC), which aims to improve the quality of measurement results in chemical and bioanalytical measurements.

In the training organized for the seventh time on 19-20 December 2013; Traceability, Selection and Use of Reference Materials, Sampling as Part of the Measurement Procedure, Statistics for Analytical Chemistry, Validation of Measurement Procedures in Single Laboratories, Internal Quality Control, Principles of Measurement Uncertainty and Measurement Uncertainty; Approaches for Calculation, which are also the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 Standard in order to introduce and disseminate quality requirements in the European Union harmonization process, were discussed with examples. The training was attended by 19 participants from 10 organizations, including food, environment, health, textile and university departments of analytical chemistry.

The activities of this training program, which is carried out by the European Commission's Joint Research Center Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (EC JRC-IRMM), are carried out by national teams in many countries of Europe, as well as by our Institute in our country, which is included in the program.
