TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute 2024 Advisory Board Meeting was held in September.
At the board meeting, which was held with the participation of 65 members consisting of senior executives from universities, private and public institutions and officials from companies providing services in the field of metrology in Turkey, the opinions and suggestions of the members were received regarding the questions discussed about metrological opportunities and breakthroughs.
At the meeting, where information about the activities of 2023 was given by TÜBİTAK UME Acting Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, the participants made evaluations on the needs and problems of our country in the field of metrology, which is an important element of quality infrastructure.
At the board meeting, which was decisive in terms of reviewing TÜBİTAK UME's plans and targets, the work and investment issues expected from the institute in terms of improving the institute's relations and coordination with other organizations, the functioning of the measurement and calibration system throughout the country and its ability to play a more effective role in this functioning were also discussed.
