The "Final Declaration" prepared as a result of the TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute Advisory Board Meeting held on June 29, 2021 at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus was published.
At the board meeting, which was held with the participation of 35 members consisting of senior executives of universities, private and public institutions and officials of companies providing services in the field of metrology in the country, the opinions and suggestions of the members were received regarding the questions discussed about metrological opportunities and breakthroughs with the group work held in the workshop format for the first time this year.
At the meeting, where TÜBİTAK UME Director Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ gave information about the activities of 2020, the participants also made evaluations on the needs and problems of our country in the field of metrology, which is an important element of quality infrastructure.
At the board meeting, which was decisive in terms of reviewing TÜBİTAK UME's plans and targets, a final declaration was prepared by discussing the work and investment issues expected from the institute in terms of improving the Institute's relations and coordination with other organizations, the functioning of the measurement and calibration system throughout the country and its ability to play a more effective role in this functioning.
