Zafer Soylu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK), visited TÜBİTAK UME on September 20, 2021.

During the visit, TÜBİTAK UME experts provided information about the metrology activities of the institute in the fields of halal and healthy products, and exchanged views on international metrology activities related to the services provided in this field.

During the visit, projects that can be realized together between the two institutions, areas of joint action and especially the halal accreditation process of TÜBİTAK UME were discussed, and it was agreed to carry out studies for possible cooperation.

President Soylu was also given information about TÜBİTAK UME's reference material production activities and reference measurement systems commonly used in chemical metrology.
