An Industrial Applications Course Protocol was signed between TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute and Gebze Technical University (GTU). With the protocol, GTU students will have the opportunity to do long-term internship at TÜBİTAK UME.
GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar and TÜBİTAK UME Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çetintaş signed the protocol, which will enable GTU students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in TÜBİTAK UME's strong laboratory infrastructure and do long-term internships.
Within the scope of the Industrial Applications Course, which is one of the important achievements of university students in terms of providing them with the opportunity to translate their course knowledge into professional experience in a laboratory environment, students who meet the conditions will benefit from TÜBİTAK UME's advanced laboratory facilities for 1 semester.
Within the scope of GTU Industrial Practices Course Regulation, this application aims to prepare students for business life by combining theory and practice, developing problem solving skills, gaining experience in areas such as teamwork, creativity and innovation.
