TÜBİTAK UME hosted the Moisture Metrology Workshop held within the scope of EMRP SIB64 METefnet Moisture Metrology in Materials Project on April 27, 2016.

At the workshop, instrument manufacturers, end-users and Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) employees were informed about the latest developments in the EMRP SIB64 METefnet Moisture Metrology in Materials project.

Representatives of public institutions and the private sector, which are among the stakeholders of the project, attended the workshop where the role and duties of TÜBİTAK UME in the project, which was implemented to realize the SI unit in moisture measurements in solid materials, to obtain lower uncertainty values based on new procedures and to ensure the traceability of measurements, were shared.

In addition, the workshop identified the problems of the participants regarding moisture measurements, the devices used and traceability and exchanged information.
