"2021-Kibble Balance Technical Meeting" by TÜBİTAK UME

The "2021-Kibble Balance Technical Meeting" was hosted by TÜBİTAK UME, where the current results of the worldwide studies on the realization and distribution of the new definition of the kilogram unit were shared.

The meeting was organized online on 22-23 November 2021 with 119 participants from 30 institutions.

The Kibble Balancing system developed at TÜBİTAK UME with an alternative idea to its global counterparts was also introduced at this meeting, which included presentations from the world's leading metrology institutes and their partners at universities.

In the forums held at the end of each day, the current situation and future practices that will guide other units defined by the kilogram unit were discussed.
