A contract was signed between TÜBİTAK UME and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) on August 8, 2018 for the "Speed and Altitude Measurement System" device to be used in defense industry and other projects.

With this contract, TÜBİTAK UME, which continues to use the knowledge and experience gained in the projects it conducts in defense industry R&D projects, will contribute to TAI's defense industry projects, especially within the scope of localization of strategic products that we are dependent on abroad.

In addition to the research and product development activities it carries out to find national solutions to the metrology requirements of the defense industry, TÜBİTAK UME will also cooperate with TAI within the framework of collaborations and projects that require consultancy, training and other expertise.
