TÜBİTAK UME hosted Emil Ahmedov, President and Huseyn Abdinov, Vice President of the Consumer Goods Evaluation Center (MMC) under the State Service for Antitrust and Consumer Market Control of Azerbaijan on 6-8 September 2023.

During the 3-day meetings, ideas were exchanged and technical examinations were made about the support TÜBİTAK UME will provide to the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute for the establishment and development of laboratories and similar project partnerships.

During the visit, TÜBİTAK UME's laboratory capacity project details and technical competence information were also shared, and an agreement was reached on the development of mutual cooperation.
