A cooperation protocol was signed between UGETAM (Istanbul Applied Gas and Energy Technologies Research Engineering Industry Trade Inc.) and TÜBİTAK UME.

TÜBİTAK UME Institute Director Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Administrative Assistant Director Dr. Erkan DANACI, Technical Assistant Director Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Optical Laboratories Supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferhat SAMETOĞLU and Specialist Ayşe ARSLAN ERGİN attended the signing ceremony held at UGETAM.

On behalf of UGETAM, Prof. Ümit Doğay ARINÇ, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ali TEM, Technological Services and Certification Manager, Selim Serkan SAY, Training and Business Development Manager and Ali ŞEN, Accounting and Human Resources Manager attended the signing ceremony.

In his speech at the signing ceremony, Prof. Ümit Doğay ARINÇ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UGETAM, briefly mentioned the establishment processes of UGETAM, emphasized the role of UGETAM in raising the quality level of our country and talked about the activities of UGETAM at the international level. He also stated that the knowledge gained through overseas projects has started to be transferred abroad and emphasized that this cooperation is very important for both institutions.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Fatih ÜSTÜNER, Director of TÜBİTAK UME Institute, stated that both institutions can carry out joint studies in many fields, especially in the energy sector, that this protocol is a start and that the cooperation will increase in the coming period.

With the protocol, TÜBİTAK UME and UGETAM aim to carry out joint studies on testing, certification, inspection and training in other fields of technology, especially energy.
