TÜBİTAK UME will provide laboratory trainings to Uzbekistan National Metrology Institute (UzNIM) researchers for four weeks in June.
According to the agreement signed by the metrology institutes of the two countries, 14 Uzbek researchers will receive technical training in TÜBİTAK UME's Dimensional, Force, Power and Energy, High Voltage, Voltage, Impedance, Volume and Density, Mass, Temperature and Pressure Laboratories, as well as quality management system standards training.
The training program, which has an important prestige value for TÜBİTAK UME to be preferred by developing metrology institutes with its laboratory infrastructure, experience and expert staff, will start on 14 June 2021.
The program, which will give a new impetus to bilateral relations between the two metrology institutes, will also be a milestone in terms of increasing the scientific and technical development of the Metrology Institute of Uzbekistan and its integration into the international metrology system.
The fact that TÜBİTAK UME, which has successfully carried out the BIPM-TÜBİTAK UME Project Placements long-term training program implemented in cooperation with the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) for 3 semesters, provided training to researchers from 30 different countries during this period, and is currently in the application evaluation process of the 4th semester, has become the preferred address for technical training is a serious achievement in terms of strengthening its place in the "league of champions" category of the metrology world.
