Dear Calibration Laboratory Authorities,
Inter-laboratory comparisons (ILC) and proficiency tests (PT) are important tools to assess the technical competence of calibration and/or testing laboratories. This is also specifically stated in the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and the TÜRKAK document. It is a requirement of the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and TÜRKAK that accredited laboratories or laboratories applying for accreditation participate in LAKs related to the measurement quantities within their scope of accreditation and have achieved successful results.
It is planned to organize a LAK considering the need for comparison of calibration laboratories that are accredited and/or planning to be accredited in the country in the field of "DC Resistance Standards and Sources" measurement.
This comparison covers the calibration of a DC Current Shunt with a nominal value of 10 mΩ at 1 A and 10 A DC current values. The participating laboratory can participate in the comparison by selecting either of these two current values or a current value of their choice.
