At the initiative of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM), information on the contributions of national metrology institutes in the global fight against COVID-19 has been published on the BIPM website.

At the call of the President of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM), all national metrology institutes gathered information on the work carried out by all national metrology institutes to support the fight against COVID-19. 

All the information collected, including the projects carried out by TÜBİTAK UME in this context, was published on BIPM's website and presented to the attention of users. In the information compiled in a single source, it is seen that different institutes use their infrastructure and expertise to carry out a wide range of activities such as design and production of medical devices, production of reference materials to secure the test results, vaccine production, production and characterization of artificial respiration devices, and N95 type mask characterization.
