Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR paid a visit to TÜBİTAK UME on April 18, 2019.

During the visit, which was organized to examine TÜBİTAK UME's recent breakthroughs in the field of metrology, Mehmet Fatih KACIR was introduced to UME by the Director of the Institute and information about UME's activities in the country and in the international arena was presented. Following the presentation, Deputy Minister KACIR examined the laboratory activities on site.

Deputy Minister KACIR, who received information about the acquisition, traceability and distribution of the time signal and Rb-based atomic clock in the Time-Frequency and Wavelength Laboratory, visited the Electromagnetic, Fluids and Atomic Sensors laboratories and examined the work carried out.

Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, who was particularly interested in the Pitot Tube project in the Fluids Laboratory and the Atomic Cell Filling and Atomic Magnetometer and Atomic Spin Geascope projects in the Atomic Sensors Laboratory, expressed his satisfaction with the success of the projects.
