Within the scope of the service contract signed between the Rwandan Ministry of Defense and TÜBİTAK UME, the 5-month training program of the ministry employees in various laboratories was completed as of July 12, 2019.

Following the successful completion of the training program, a certificate ceremony was held on July 12, 2019 with the participation of H.E. Williams NKURUNZIZA, Ambassador of Rwanda to Turkey and Joel UWIZEYE, Chief Attaché of Rwanda. After the ceremony, the Ambassador of Rwanda to Turkey and the Chief Clerk visited the Electromagnetics, Time-Frequency and Acoustics laboratories and had the opportunity to examine TÜBİTAK UME's laboratory infrastructure on site.

This long-term training program, which is the first step in the relationship between the Rwandan Ministry of Defence and TÜBİTAK UME, is also important in terms of the contacts made to improve the metrological infrastructure of the Rwandan Ministry of Defence and to develop our cooperation to continue the metrology training of its employees.
