TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute 2022 Advisory Board Meeting was held on September 13, 2022.

At the board meeting, which was held with the participation of 45 members consisting of senior executives of universities, private and public institutions and officials of companies providing services in the field of metrology in the country, the opinions and suggestions of the members on the questions discussed about metrological opportunities and breakthroughs were received.

At the meeting, where information about the activities of 2021 was provided by TÜBİTAK UME Acting Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, the participants also made evaluations on the needs and problems of our country in the field of metrology, which is an important element of quality infrastructure.

At the board meeting, which was decisive in terms of reviewing TÜBİTAK UME's plans and targets, the work and investment issues expected from the institute in terms of improving the institute's relations and coordination with other organizations, the functioning of the measurement and calibration system throughout the country and its ability to play a more effective role in this functioning were also discussed.
