TÜBİTAK UME held a workshop titled "Elements of Metrological Traceability in Clinical Laboratories" within the scope of the 27th Balkan Clinical Federation (BCLF 2019) and 30th National Biochemistry Congress (TBS 2019) organization held in Antalya on 27-31 October 2019.
The "Elements of Metrological Traceability in Clinical Laboratories Workshop" organized by TÜBİTAK UME at Antalya Papillon Zeugma Congress Center was attended by medical laboratory employees of various institutions, organizations and companies and academicians who are experts in this field.
In the workshop, where the studies on the need for reference measurement methods and certified reference materials to ensure SI traceability in measurements made in medical laboratories were emphasized, oral presentations were made about the primary level measurement methods developed in the Chemistry Group Laboratories of TÜBİTAK National Metrology Institute and certified reference materials produced.
In addition, TÜBİTAK UME's studies in the clinical field were introduced at the stand opened at the congress.
