During the technical visit, senior officials of NMIE were introduced to the laboratories of TÜBİTAK UME and informed about the metrological infrastructure of the institute.

During the visit, which was made to operationalize the Memorandum of Understanding signed between TÜBİTAK UME and NMIE in 2012, cooperation opportunities that may arise within the framework of the World Bank project that NMIE is expected to start implementing to strengthen its infrastructure in the near future were discussed.

They also agreed on an action plan for the future, including the provision of training services, benchmarking and consultancy services for the development of some laboratories.

In the first stage, a delegation from TÜBİTAK UME will visit NMIE to evaluate their laboratories and discuss what can be done within the scope of the World Bank project.
