Visit to TÜBİTAK UME by LNE General Manager Thomas GRENON

France's national metrology institute Laboratoire national de métrologie et d'essais (LNE) General Manager Thomas GRENON visited TÜBİTAK UME on June 17, 2019 to get information about the activities carried out and laboratory capacities.

During the visit, during which mutual introductory presentations were made, views were exchanged especially on ongoing research and development projects in strong cooperation with LNE.

LNE General Manager GRENON also visited the Electomagnetic, Time-Frequency, Length, Acoustic, Dimensional, Inorganic Chemistry, Bioanalysis, Medical Metrology and Electrodynamics laboratories and had the opportunity to closely observe the laboratory capacity of TÜBİTAK UME.

During the visit, it was agreed to strengthen the cooperation between TÜBİTAK UME and LNE, which are partners in 34 completed and 11 ongoing projects within the framework of the EU-funded EMRP and EMPIR metrology research programs.
