The objective of the “Calibration of Thermocouples by Comparison Method with Radiation Thermometer” project was to increase the present thermocouple calibration measuring system’s upper temperature limit from 1084 °C to 1325 °C and thus increase the accuracy with which the traceability of the reference thermocouples in the temperature range of 1084 ° C and 1325 ° C is provided.
